MoldOff Kills Mold on Vinyl Siding

I first used this product three years ago on my vinyl siding that had extensive mold buildup as the sun never hits certain areas of the house. I know the recommended ratio of water to Moldoff is 3:1 but I diluted at a ratio of approximately 8:1 because I planned on using a large sponge to spread the Moldoff on the siding. Plus, to be honest, I was hoping to have the gallon of Moldoff last for the entire job (I actually used about ½ gallon). I did not use much pressure on the sponge, just enough to lightly scrub the siding. I would do a section, say 4 feet by 8 feet and then rinse with a hose. All of the mold was removed, the siding looked like new and 3 years later I have had no return of mold where I used Moldoff.

My neighbor pressure washed his house at the same time, using just water, and it did remove the mold but the siding still had a dingy look to it. However, the next year his pressure washed siding again had mold.

Recently I used Moldoff on some cement sidewalks that had the green tinged mold on it. In the past I pressure washed the concrete, which did remove the mold, but it was returning every year. Plus, the power washing took a substantial amount of time and water. For the concrete I used a solution of approximately 6:1 and liberally applied it with a long handled scrub brush. I let it sit for about 5 minutes and washed it off with a hose, just using house pressure. All the mold was removed and the concrete looks better than the concrete that had no mold.

I highly recommend Moldoff. I get the concentrate as I can dilute it as I see fit. If you compare the price to some of the products out there it might seem a little expensive, but remember, you are diluting it as you see fit and it DEFINITELY works.
